SIMOHAMMED FETTAKA

Born in 1981, Simohammed Fettaka is a pluridisciplinary artist based between Paris and Tangier. He integrated the summer university of la Femis (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Métiers de l’Image et Son) in 2007 then founded the Festival Cinema Nachia at the cinematheque of Tangier in 2008. He directores news stories as well as experiementals videos that questions repeatedly the relationships between representation, individuality and politics. In paralel with his film work, he develops a more global practice of the visual artist, he appears in photographic series, collages, installations as well as sound pieces, regularly featured in France and on an international scale. He also pursued the Masters program “ Programme d’expérimentation en Arts et Politiques” at l’Institut d’études politiques de Paris.
